Cardigan: Nordstrom * Tank: Nordstrom Rack * Shorts: D.I. (thrift store) * Shoes: D.I.
Alllllriiiiight! My first thrifting post, woo! Now obviously not all of it is thrifted… but two main pieces this cute?? Yep, I’m pretty stoked! Now the shorts were pants when I bought them… Like HUGE bellbottom jeans haha but with the help of a couple friends, I saw the potential in them. So I bought them ($6 btw), took them home, snipped ‘em with some scissors, folded them up a little, and voila! And to add to the patting of myself on the back, my mom really likes them too! And just so you are all aware my mom is not a huge fan of me shopping at thrift stores, so this is a great success (:
Also, school has officially started! Homework, readings, quizzes, studying, projects, boooooooks… Speaking of books, in first post I say that buying books is “exciting”… I would like to formally retract that statement. As much as I love school, buying books is AWFUL! They are super expensive and you know that you are probably only going to get $20 back from the $200 you spent on that one single book. Then to add insult to injury the bookstore sometimes won’t even buy back your books! Blah, student life. Haha but alright I’m done complaining because I really do love school, I just looked back over my first post and saw the “buying books excitement” and had to clear the air, and I feel much better now…. Can any of you college students relate? I’m sure you all can haha but I hope school, work, or whatever everyone is up to is going well!
Thanks for visiting!
