My brother and Morgan got engaged last night!!! I’m struggling to explain it because it is just too cute and all I want to do is blabber about how cute they are and perfect and excited I am and blah blah blah… So I’ll go a pic at a time and maybe get through the story.
1st: Her ring… It’s two separate bands, gold, and gorgeous… Obviously (:
Also must throw out that I am slightly proud of my photography throughout the night (: … But anyway…
2nd & 3rd: The flowers in the hotel. So Nick proposed at the Montage in Park City (Park City is where they had their first date and the Montage is where we had a family vacation w/ her and Nick decided he wanted to marry her, so pretty much it’s the most sentimental and cute setting ever) but anyway, the flowers and candles leading to the deck then the deck with the flower pedals and candles. I’m seriously in love with this. Ps: The flowers were done by Morgan’s sister who is an amazing florist. Check out her website: tingefloral.com.
4th: Yep, I got to be their secret photographer who hid in the shadows and took the “in the moment” pictures… And what resulted were these two! Once again they are too perfect.
The last pictures are just the pictures I took of them after he proposed. It was an amazing night filled with love and family.
Both of the families came up after and congratulated them. It was great! We chatted, ate hors d’oeuvres, drank Martinelli’s, cooked s’mores, sipped hot chocolate, and overall had a really good time.
But to end all of this messy blabber (which I’m sorry about) I am so thrilled for them… I love both of them so much and am stoked that Morgan is going to be my sister!!!! She’s going to make a beautiful bride.
Old pics, new blog…. Uhh what?? Yep, I used to have a different blog. These pics I did at the end of April and they were the second post I ever did for that blog. *gasp* it’s the second (real) post for this blog too!! Coincidence?? I think not… Actually it was a coincidence, I didn’t realize this until I started typing this haha but anyway… I started my old blog at the beginning of summer with a friend but after we moved to Hawaii it got really hard to do and the blog just wasn’t what I wanted it to be. My friend and I just have such different styles, which is totally fine it just makes it hard to combine into one blog… So I started this one! I’m hoping this one will be everything I want for my creative outlet, and so far I’ve had a ton of fun. So we’re off to a great start!
This shoot was so much fun though! Two of my brothers (Nick and Jordan) came along and were joking around in the back, pretending to be my hairstylist, and being all sorts of crazy fun as per usual, such a great time. Morgan Latimer, Nick’s girlfriend, was the photographer. She is seriously so talented it’s ridiculous! And Morgan’s sister was the one who made the headpieces for me, she is an incredible florist. Her company is called Tinge Floral, DEFINITELY worth checkin’ out!
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment, I would love to get some feedback!!
Look on the left pic, see how the middle of the shirt (on the shark design) is blue and the edges are gray?? Changes color in the sun!
Top: Del Sol * Vest: Pac Sun * Shorts: Dillards * Shoes: Vans
Yay!!! My first (real) post! Okay okay okay, I HAVE to point out how awesome this shirt is! So it’s by Del Sol and all of their products change color in the sun… I know, what?? But it’s true and awesome! Now just so you’re all aware, I do have a slight biased towards their clothes because I worked for their Maui store this summer for 3 months… But regardless of my biased they are still awesome! This one is a boys youth shirt that I cut the sleeves and collar off because a customer got make up on the collar and so it went to defectives and I got to keep it! Woo!
But anyway, I move back down to school this Friday which is crazy! I haven’t even unpacked from Maui and now I have to move again… But I am stoked! Buying books, decorating my room, going to new classes… It’s all so exciting!! I do have to find a job which is always tough because it has to work with classes but it’ll all work out! Anyway, I’ll be trying to post at least every Sunday, so ’til next time!
